Cupressochparis leylandii
Cupressocyparis leylandii, commonly known as Leyland cypress, has a wide distribution in forests across the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. It can grow up to 20 meters tall and grows rapidly. The foliage consists of dull dark green scale-like leaves arranged oppositely on the shoots. It is tolerant to pruning and resistant to air pollution. It grows in a pyramid shape. It is widely used as a hedge plant and also serves as a windbreak in parks and gardens.
