Pampas grass, also known as Cortaderia selloana, is a plant with sharp leaf edges. It is a robust and sturdy grass, forming dense clumps that are impassable. The leaves of pampas grass are evergreen, providing a continuous green appearance. Its flowers are dense, upright, and tufted, arranged in compound panicles. Each panicle contains herbaceous, spike-like flowers.
It can tolerate temperatures down to -15 degrees Celsius. With fibrous roots, it thrives in sunny areas.
